    I paid full amount and I can't get the car

    I paid full amount to buy a car from this dealer on 11th January and requested a home delivery for the car. I can't receive any update from them after I paid so I called them on 16th. They promised me they’ll delivery to me on 18th. I waited all day on that day they texted me on 4:00pm and told me the car still repairing. I called them and they said they need 3 days to fix the problem. I still cannot received any update from this dealer so I called them on 23rd, they said they need to send the car to BMW to fix the problem on 26th then they’ll delivery the car to me on same day. I waited all day again in 26th and not receive any update from you. I called you on today, 27th, again and again, the first time, I mentioned my situation and then you cut off my phone. I don’t know it is accident or not. I called you again and you transfer my phone to another staff and tell me wrong number. I called you third time and you cut off my phone again?

    HI Alvin, Sorry you have had to leave a negative review. You were informed at purchase the heating wasn't working and we needed to take the car to BMW for a repair. Unfortunately Main Dealerships are always busy and we had to wait for appointment. We didn't want to give you a car with no heating in this harsh winter. We informed you of this before purchase and told you it would be 3-4 weeks but you insisted on calling up 4 times a week to be told the same thing.. We honoured what we said we were going to do...     Agreed sale and invoice sent to me Tuesday, deposit paid Wednesday only to find out Thursday that it had been sold to another buyer behind my back when I tried to arrange pick up. This was despite me communicating all the time with updates. Poor communication and lacked professionalism and customer care. Then had to message all day to get deposit refunded. Ridiculous

    Hi Mike, I'm sorry we were unable to proceed with this sale with you and to read your comments. For full understanding, we agreed a provisional sale with you on the Tuesday subject to you leaving us a holding deposit to take the vehicle off sale for you. Sadly you didn't leave the deposit on the Tuesday as agreed, and our final conversation was that you would send first thing Wednesday morning. Sadly again this was not received and under these circumstances we will continue to advertise a vehicle until we do receive a deposit. The car was sold to a customer that left us a deposit that day, and sadly you then sent your deposit over to us Wednesday late PM As a car sales garage, we receive a number of calls every day where someone is wanting to buy a car from us and promises to leave a deposit but doesn't follow through, it is a daily occurrence. As a business we have to continue to advertise our cars until a firm deposit is received. I can confirm your deposit was returned to you the same day we communicated it would be. I am sorry we were unable to proceed with you as we'd initially hoped to, but hopefully this helps to clarify the journey. Many thanks

    Very bad experience!

    The experience that I had was very bad. I bought the car in February 2022. First they promised the tank will be full, it wasn't. I nearly got to the first petrol station. I called they said will pay for it. Sent the bill, they never did. I trusted that they have payed my road tax and sent the V5 form to change the owner of the car as I payed them for tax road they asked. I have chased them for a while and they assured me that the tax road is payed and the V5 should come soon. I asked the confirmation of it. They never sent it to me. I found out they never applied how they promised. And today I called the DVLS finding out about this. Being a new driver is not easy as you are going with the trust bying a car. Doesn't mean you can fool the customer in this way. I called today the company as well, they promised to come back to me after they will do the application and call DVLA. They never did! I have drive for almost 1 year without tax road as I believed them, this was my fault the rest is their responsibility been as I have payed and didn't get the appropriate service. They are nice till the point when you get the car delivered after will forget about you nicely and keep you waiting nicely too...

    Recently purchased a second hand car from Garswood over the internet. The guys were great in describing the car, it's history and even video called me so I could view it myself before I purchased it. They arranged delivery (as I was over 100 miles way) and the car arrived exactly as I expected. Five star service from Dave & Simon.

    Buyer beware Mini's are not their forte....

    Great Customer care at the beginning of the journey, but when the car was faulty within 6 hours of collection. It all went downhill quickly. Returned vehicle 12 hours after collection and no quick fix, but promises made that a week was all they needed. The part was still in the office a week after we gave them it back. 7 weeks later we had no car still and multiple promises were broken. Communication was all one way on our part. Lack of communication between the company with the staff. Our Mini cooper was returned 8 weeks later with supposedly repaired issues. NOPE the car was untouched and not valeted. Roof had algae on it and looked scrappy and uncared for. Wheels were refurbed, but they had just been sprayed over the damage and the tears in the paint from previous repairs and balancing and tracking not done just awful. Anyway cut the story short car was returned and refunded as it was leaking and we had no faith in the car due to this and members of the companies behaviour. So refund was paid back in the agreed time and its a shame as we loved the vehicle. But not the company. Would not recommend them to anyone Some tried to help and the others just hindered and we felt like we were an inconvenience when we did manage to speak to someone.. So please think twice before buying a car from this company. We had only had the car for 5 days we bought and owned for 44 days in total so we missed the sunshine in our convertible!!!!!! Sorry guys.....

    An excellent car buying experience

    Recently purchased a BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe from Garswood. After first viewing, several items I identified as "issues" were rectified without question, including new discs and pads all round, which are not cheap and the 4 series came with new genuine BMW floor mats and a comprehensive 12 months warranty. They also gave me the best price on my 3 Series diesel (which I see was sold VERY quickly!). The car sales site is not immediately attractive, but don't let that put you off giving them a try. Dave, the salesman who dealt with me, was very easy going and really good to deal with.

    Faulty car

    I’m devastated. The car I bought on 24th Sept needs a new clutch. I can’t get the car back to you as I had it delivered to me in Derbyshire. Your insisting I have to return it to you myself and you’ll repair it. You’ve refused to allow me to get it sorted locally and pay towards it if not all. The car is under warranty so I am entitled to a refund but I need a car to get to work in a care home. So I’m in bits.
